Wish PowerExchange 2012

The summer of 2012 will see the third annual Wish PowerExchange Summer camp for women, trans and intersex people interested in BDSM and fetish! Wish invites you to a thrilling week on the west coast of Sweden, filled with kinky happenings and activities, play areas, workshops, performances and demonstrations all located in fantastic surroundings to explore. Also note that a week after the camp Stockholm Pride starts, which makes for a perfect opportunity to really get the most out of a stay in Sweden!

Wish – A New Year and a New Constitution

As you may be aware, this year saw a change in the Wish constitution, to make as explicit as possible who we cater for with our events and activities. Wish continues to grow as a Swedish non-profit BDSM and fetish organization and this year we specifically amended our written constitution to explicitly include all those peoples and communities that we have felt were always welcome at Wish but perhaps it was not clear enough before in writing. In short, Wish events are open to all women, trans people and intersex people. This means that wherever you feel you lie on this spectrum you are most welcome to Wish PowerExchange. All who attend will be asked to respect this.

Also, as with last year, there will be a couple of our Wish extended family working as on site staff and supporters who may be cis-identified men. They will keep their distance from the events and the camp as a whole but will be around should we need as they provide essential support and maintenance as well as providing access to the leather workshop throughout the week. They respect us and our space and we expect attendees to continue to show them that respect too.

Date
The camp will take place from Tuesday the 17th of July to Sunday the 22nd of July. In order to promote a good atmosphere we would prefer if the participants stayed for the whole duration of the camp. This means we will prioritize those who register for the whole period. Registrations for shorter time periods will be most welcome provided that there is room.

Price
The cost of the camp is 2900 SEK (Swedish Kronor), and that includes both room and board. If you are willing to help in the kitchen or with cleaning we can offer a reduction in the fee. For each day you offer to help (max 3 hours of work per day) we offer a 250 SEK reduction. We have limited reduced-rate spots reserved for this purpose however, so please state clearly on your registration if you would like to be considered for this.

Place
The camp consists of a small set of houses and buildings on the west coast of Sweden, surrounded by beautiful nature and close to the town of Smögen, as well as Nordens ark, an animal sanctuary for endangered species (http://www.nordensark.se/en/). It is in walking distance to a picturesque beach perfect for swimming. Directions to the location will be sent upon confirmed booking and completed payment.

The premises
The estate features newly renovated, spacious shower- and bathrooms. There are washing and drying facilities for clothes as well. On the yard there is a bathing tub (hot tub) where you can take a relaxing hot bath in the summer evening. Inside the main building there are three rooms – two big and public spaces with several stations, and one smaller lockable dungeon in the basement with a booking system for especially private encounters. Each space is equipped with all kinds of furniture and equipment for s/m and bondage play, such as a gynecologists chair, a bondage chair, whipping benches, metal poles, St. Andrews’ crosses, winches in the ceiling and an old fashioned bed. At times there will also be one small intimate cabin available situated right next to the hot tub.

There is also plenty of open and social areas and a large dining room and of course bedrooms. Since the estate has an enclosed yard, there are also possibilities to play outside – perhaps by a tree? – and weather permitting we will also have furniture and activities planned outside. Following the success of certain themed events (such as our Wish Schoolroom) we also may be able to arrange themed areas such as a classroom or medical area. If you have any suggestions or wishes, the sooner we know about them the more likely we may be able to work something out. Furthermore there is a well-stocked leather workshop available for those who want to make their own toys or clothes. A leather smith will be at your disposal, and you can either bring your own materials, or buy on site.

Rules

We ask that everyone familiarize themselves with the rules (and of course follow them). These have been put together to ensure everyone’s safety, security and comfort while at the camp. A list will be sent out with booking information, but will also be found at our website http://wishpowerexchange.se/.

Sleeping arrangements
Bedrooms are shared, with four people in each room. There is also space to put your own caravan, trailer or tent in the yard. Depending on the number of participants, there may be a possibility for groups or couples for example, to get their own rooms. Please tell us when you register if you want to be on the list for that option. We cannot guarantee that it will be possible but we will do our best to accommodate you. All the participants must bring their own bed linen and towels. (For those of you who have a luggage limitation please let us know when booking that you will need to rent bed linen at an additional small cost and it will be provided for you!). We will also ask you to clean your rooms before departing.

Meals
Meals are included in the fee. Breakfast is served from about 9:00-12:00 am, and there will be a light meal around 3:00 pm. Dinner is served around 6:00 pm. Fruit and snacks will be available throughout the day. We will do our best to accommodate the needs of special diets such as allergies, etc. but you MUST state your needs clearly upon registration. It is essential that we know your needs BEFORE the 2nd of JULY, or we may not be able to accommodate them.

Alcohol
There will be a self-service bar available at low costs, supplied with non-alcoholic beverages and a limited variety of alcoholic beverages such as beer/wine/cider. There will be other basic beverages available free of charge, for example coffee, tea, milk and of course water.

Language
The camp is international, and therefore communications will be in English to accommodate all our guests travelling from all over the world. If you require a translation, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Disability access
Unfortunately, the camp may not be well adapted for some people with mobility impairments since it is partly situated on a grass slope. The majority of the facilities have level access (though some bedroom areas and the hot tub have step access, and some doors may be narrow). We do aim to find ways to participate for everyone, so if you have any specific questions regarding accessibility, please do not hesitate to mail us at wishpowerexchange@gmail.com.

Activities
On Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday there will be workshops/presentations/demonstrations/peer-to-peer knowledge sharing taking place most often during the afternoons. All the activities will be held in English when possible. There may also be massage available for an additional cost. If you have any special skill or knowledge that you would like to share, we welcome suggestions for lectures, workshops, and demonstrations of all kinds. There is a wireless Internet connection at the estate. It may however be very weak occasionally, so please note that we cannot ensure a 100 % reliable connection at all times.

Registration and payment information
The last day to register for the camp is the 30th of May. You may cancel your booking up until Monday the 2nd of July in case of illness or other serious events. In this case, the fee will be repaid, minus the administrative costs. After this date we will not be able to repay the fee due to a cancelled booking. This is because the event is run strictly on a NON-PROFIT basis and your fee will have been already used to cover the expenses for your attendance. The summer of 2011 will be the second time this yearly summer camp for women (including past, present and future women) interested in BDSM and fetishism takes place! Wish invites you to an exciting week on the west coast of Sweden, filled with happenings and activities play areas, several workshops and fantastic surroundings to explore. It will also be a perfect opportunity for bikers to get together, of course under the conditions that you understand and respect the BDSM- and fetishist theme.  Also note that the Stockholm Pride week starts a week after the camp and makes this a perfect opportunity to really get the most out of a stay in Sweden!

Date
The camp will take place from Tuesday the 19th of July to Sunday the 24th of July. During the week personnel taking care of the practicalities on the estate will be present but everyone understands and respects the BDSM and fetish focus of the stay. In order to promote a good atmosphere we would prefer if the participants stayed for the whole duration of the camp. This means we will prioritize those who register for the whole period. Registrations for shorter time periods will be most welcome provided that there is room.

Price
The cost of the camp is 2700 SEK (260 €), and that includes both room and board. There will be a possibility to reduce the fee by 250 SEK (25€)/day if you are willing to for example help in the kitchen, do a presentation/ workshop or help with cleaning during a few hours per day. We have a few spots reserved for this purpose and please state clearly upon your registration what you would prefer contributing with.

Wish PowerExchange – sommarläger på Västkusten den 19-24 juli 2011

Sommaren 2011 arrangeras för andra gången ett läger för BDSM och fetischintresserade kvinnor, alla som är, har varit eller kommer att bli kvinnor!  Wish bjuder in till en spännande, aktivitetsrik vecka på Västkusten med helpension, gott om lekutrymmen, flera workshops och fantastiska omgivningar att utforska. Det är också ett utmärkt tillfälle för MC-intresserade att samlas utifrån att man är införstådd med och respekterar lägrets BDSM- och fetischinriktning. En vecka efter lägret startar Stockholm Pride så det är också ett perfekt sätt att ladda inför Priden!

Datum
Lägret anordnas 2011 under vecka 29, från tisdagen den 19 juli till och med söndagen den 24 juli. Under veckan finns personal som hjälper till med driften av gården och är införstådda med BDSM- och fetischinriktningen. För att främja sammanhållningen ser vi helst att deltagarna är med under hela lägret. Därför prioriteras vid anmälan de som har möjlighet att vara med alla dagar. Övriga är varmt välkomna för den tid man vill och kan komma med, men i mån av plats.

Pris
Lägeravgiften är 2700 kr per deltagare. I detta ingår inkvartering med helpension och tillgång till alla gårdens faciliteter. Det finns möjlighet att reducera avgiften med 250kr/per dag om man kan arbeta deltid under lägret, med exempelvis handräckning i köket, städning eller hålla ett föredrag några timmar om dagen. Det finns ett visst antal platser avdelade för detta och du anger vid anmälan vad du kan tänka dig att göra.

Plats
Vi kommer att vara på en lägergård på Västkusten med närhet till dess vackra natur och pärlor som Smögen och turistmål som Nordens Ark. Gården ligger på gångavstånd från en naturskön badplats. Vägbeskrivning skickas vid bekräftad anmälan och full betalning.

Gemensamma utrymmen
På gården finns nyrenoverade dusch- och toalettutrymmen med gott om plats. Det finns tvättmaskin och torkställning. På gården finns en vedeldad badtunna för avkoppling, kanske både före och efter diverse aktiviteter.  BDSM-salar med möbler för s/m- och bondage, t.ex. gynstol, elektrisk takvinsch, bondagestol, piskbänkar, metallstolpar, Andreaskors och madrasser finns inomhus. Eftersom gården har en omsluten, insynsskyddad innergård finns även möjlighet till aktiviteter utomhus bland annat vid skampåle eller träd! I källaren finns en separat, låsbar dungeon med bokningssystem för mer privat samvaro. Utifrån önskemål på förhand har vi i viss mån möjlighet att arrangera specialutrymmen som t ex Klinik eller Skola. Det finns även en välutrustad läderverkstad med erfaren instruktör att tillgå, för de som vill tillverka egna leksaker eller kläder. Man kan i viss mån köpa material på plats eller ha med sig eget.

Boende
Boendet är till största delen av vandrarhemskaraktär i fyrbäddsrum. Det finns möjlighet att ställa upp husvagn/husbil på gården för de som vill. Beroende på deltagarantal kan det finnas möjlighet till egna rum för exempelvis par/grupper/triader, ange i så fall denna önskan i din anmälan. Ange även om du/ni vill bo tillsammans om era anmälningar görs separat. Alla deltagare tar med egna sängkläder och handdukar och städar sitt rum innan avfärd.

Måltider
Måltiderna är inkluderade i lägeravgiften. Frukost serveras c:a 09.00-12.00 och fika vid 15.00. Gemensam middag serveras c:a 18.00 varje kväll, då det finns tillfälle att klä upp sig för alla som känner för det. Frukt och snacks kommer att finnas tillgängliga dygnet runt. I viss utsträckning kan vi tillgodose behov av specialdieter vid allergi etc. Ange detta tydligt vid anmälan.

Alkohol
Bar med självservering av alkoholfria drycker samt ett litet utbud av vin/öl/cider till självkostnadspris kommer att finnas på plats.

Språk
Lägret har en internationell inriktning och språket kommer därför att vara både engelska och svenska. Vi hjälps åt med att översätta när det behövs!

Funktionshinder
Lägergården är inte så rullstolsvänlig eftersom den delvis ligger i en sluttande terräng, men det mesta går oftast att lösa. Mejla oss gärna på wishutskick@gmail.com, om du har specifika frågor om lokalernas eller lägrets tillgänglighet!

Aktiviteter
Under onsdagen, torsdagen, fredagen och lördagen kommer workshops/föredrag/demonstrationer/kunskapsdelningar av olika slag (exempelvis magdans, poledance, bondage, piskteknik, queer teori eller psykisk dominans) att hållas under eftermiddagarna. Alla workshops kommer vid behov att vara engelskspråkiga.

Anmälan/betalning
Sista anmälningsdag är 30 maj. Om det är fullbokat arrangeras en väntelista för eventuella avbokningar. Avbokning kan göras fram till 3 juli på grund av sjukdom eller andra allvarliga händelser och avgiften kan då återfås med avdrag för administrativa kostnader. With only a month to go before the camp begins it is really exciting to realise that there are going to be an amazing week with many interesting participants and a programme that offers multiple possibilities to realx, play and explore – yourself as well as the others…

Here is some highlites so far:

Mollena Williams – International Ms Leather Pride 2010 and BDSM educator will bring us workshops and talks on many interesting topics such as Negotiation for the Hopelessly Shy & the Terribly Awkward, Playing with Strangers: How to get it on at a Con!, Beautiful Intention, Gracious Focus: Bringing Service to Life, The Psychology of Psychological Play. These are only a few of her  regular classes and you can read more about them on her blog The Perverted Negress.

Ingo – created Wotever World in London 2003, and run different events/clubs within this organisation as well as the Queer sexclub Klub Fukk. Klub Fukk is a safe meetingplace including all the different genders and sexualities that unites as Queer. At Klub Fukk Queer Porn is showed and since a few years they show their own films. Made and produced at the club. At Wish Powerexchange Ingo present a workshop and you will have the possibility to see some of them and also create your own if you want to. It is also a great opportunity to get inspiration and advise about the wide world of Wotever!

During the week we will also be joined by a bondage instructor that will litterally show us the ropes – make sure you bring your own if you have them!

Apart from all the possible sexercise you might get into and the making of your own clothes and plesure paraphenalia in the leather workshop under possible guidance from one of Swedens most experienced craftsmen during your stay, there will also be other lesiures available!

An expert on yoga and meditation is participating and have offered to act as an instuctor during the week for those who wish to explor this.

We are bringing two sea kayaks with safety equipment for those who want to feel the seaside from another perspective. There are experienced users present that may coach beginners.

We are also hopefully expecting a massage expert and a makeup artist specialised in extreme designs as well as the daily beautification. That would provide a perfect complement to the photosessions available by renowned fetish photograher Susanne, the artist behind the internet site A Thing for Rubber (http://www.a-thing.se),who will be taking photos of professional studio quality if you want to. requested that we arrange one more infomeeting about Wish Powerexchange
summercamp. We always strive to please our members, so on the 8th of June
between 6-8PM two of the organizers of the camp, Lilaa and Anna, will be

Celebrate Midsummer on Club Wish on Thursday the 24th of June

Forget about the schnaps and dancing around the midsummer pole.
Celebrate Swedish Midsummer the Club Wish way – in a mystical forest grown
in our underground crypt.  The green foliage grows through the concrete
and out of the walls and we let the music lure the mythical
creatures,forest animals and pagans to dance. We start off the Midsummer
rites with our little fairy lillaO giving a talk on implements of pain
that you can find in the great outdoors. We have gathered switches and
nettles so that the playful can practice their new skills afterwards!

General information:
Club Wish is a club for women who are attracted to other women. Everyone
who are, has been or identify as women and who have an interest in BDSM
and fetishes are welcome. You will find more information in our website:

Time: The talk starts around 7.30 PM, so be sure to come between 7-7.30 if
you want to listen, because the entrance is closed during the talk. We
open again 8.30 PM, and close 1AM (entrance open until midnight).
Place: Club Wish is located at Wollmar Yxkullsgatan 18 (the entrance is a

Wish and Scandinavian Leather Men invites you to a Midsummerbuffet on the

You will only have a few days to recover from the Club Wish midsummer
party, then it is time to gear up for the annual tradition of the
gendermixed party on Midsummer Day – one of the best parties in Stockholm
according to many! This year SLM and Wish have joined forces and arrange
this event together. As always, there is no membership required to this
event, so the whole leathercommunity is invited! The tickets cost 295 SEK
for non-members, while members in SLM and Wish can buy tickets at a
discount: 195 SEK. The ticket includes entrance-fee, a traditional Swedish

goes on until 3AM. Tickets are bought in advance at SLM (no tickets sold
at the door on the 26th). Remember to bring your Wish membershipcard if
you want the discount! Exclusively for Wish and SLM members there is a
possibility to join the party after the buffet, around 10PM (entrance 50
SEK). This is a VERY popular event, sometimes we have a queue all the way
out on the street so be prepared for some waiting…

Tisdagen den 8 juni – infoträff om sommarlägret

För alla som ännu  inte har kommit till skott och anmält sig till
sommarlägret har vi goda nyheter: det finns några platser kvar och vi
har därför förlängt anmälningstiden till den 28 juni. Vi har fått
förfrågningar om vi kan göra en repris på infoträffen om
sommarlägret som hölls på Morfar Ginko/Papa Raj Raj i slutet på maj
och vi vill givetvis göra vårt bästa för att tillfredsställa våra
medlemmar! Den 8:e juni mellan 18-20 bänkar vi oss därför åter på
Morfar Ginko på Swedenborgsgatan 13 och alla ni som är nyfikna på Wish
Powerexchanges sommarläger är välkomna att titta förbi.

Fira midsommar med Wish torsdagen den 24 juni

Strunta i snapsen och små grodorna och fira in midsommaren med en mytisk
fruktbarhetfest i Club Wishs underjordiska krypta. Växtligheten spirar
genom betongen och ut ur väggarna och vi hoppas på att med trollsk musik
locka ljusskygga naturväsen, skogsdjur, huldror och hedningar till dans.
Vi inleder midsommarriterna med att lilla o håller en föreläsning om
smärtredskap som man kan hitta i naturen och vi har samlat in björkris
och nässlor så att lekfulla varelser kan praktisera sina nya kunskaper
och offervilliga kan erbjuda sina kroppar som midsommarblot.

Generell information inför midsommarfesten:

Öppettider: Föredraget startar kring 19.30. Se till att komma mellan
19.00-19.30 om du vill lyssna, för insläppet är stängt under den tiden
föreläsningen varar och öppnar åter 20.30. Insläpp till festen
pågår sedan 20.30-00.00 (öppet till c:a 01.00)
Entré: fri entré mellan 19.00-21.00, sedan inträde 60 kr. Medlemskap i
Wish kostar 100 kr/år och tecknas på plats.
Betalningsinformation: Kontant betalning enbart. Tyvärr kan vi inte
administrera kortbetalningar.
Plats: SLMs klubblokal på Wollmar Yxkullsgatan 18, (garageport, ring på

Dresscode: Minimum black, men fetischklädsel och annan stämningsfull

Omklädning: Det finns en avskild plats för omklädning ovanför trappan

Wish och SLM bjuder in till midsommarbuffé på midsommardagen den 26/6

På midsommardagen är det dags för den traditionsenliga midsommarbuffén
i SLM:s lokaler. I år anordnar Wish och SLM festen tillsammans och som
vanligt är även de som inte är medlemmar i klubbarna varmt välkomna.
Biljetterna kostar 295 kronor för icke-medlemmar  medan helårsmedlemmar
i SLM och medlemmar i Wish betalar 195 kronor. I priset ingår
entréavgift och midsommarbuffé med tillhörande snaps. Klockan 19:00
öppnar vi dörrarna till den stora buffén och festen pågår till 03:00.
Biljetter går endast att köpa via förköp hos SLM, och kom ihåg att ta
med dig ditt medlemskort! Efterinsläppet börjar kl. 22:00 och är endast
för medlemmar i SLM / Wish (inträde 50 kronor). Var beredd på att det
kommer att vara kö, så kom i tid!

Its getting closer by the day now! The Swedish westcoast is getting ready to greet a queer and playful group with their sights set on Wish Powerexchange Summercamp!

We can drop a few teasers and tell you that renowned fetish photograher Susanne, the artist behind the internet site A Thing for Rubber (http://www.a-thing.se), will be taking photos of the guests who want to have their picture taken on the last eve of the camp, so be sure to pack your favourite fetish outfits, folks!

We have also invited partyfixer Ingo, from the team behind Wotever World (http://woteverworld.com ), who is currently involved in a queer pornproject, filming the activities on klub fukk in London. Ingo will be holding a workshop on queer porn during the camp.

The leather workshop will be up and running, with a craftsman guiding those who want to make their own toys how to make for example their own cane, tawse or bridle. For those of you who got hooked on mud after the mudparty  we can also let is slip that we have a giant rubberfloat prepared for messy fun like wrestling or making out in a pool filled with  j-lube or mud.

All of this is just a few of the options to choose from during the stay and all is of course based on voluntary participation!

There are still vacant rooms on the camp, so be sure to register and seize this unique opportunity to make international contacts, play in well-equipped dungeons, sunbathe on a secluded beach or simply hang out with like-minded people on the veranda or in the outdoors bubble pool!

Nu börjar det dra ihop sig! Västkusten gör sig redo för att ta emot ett leksuget och queerigt gäng med kosan inställd på Wish Powerexchange! Vi kan redan nu avslöja några av överraskningarna om vad som kommer att hända på lägerveckan!

Under lördagen att gästas lägret av fetishfotografen Susanne som ligger bakom internetsajten A Thing for Rubber (http://www.a-thing.se). Susanne kommer att ta foton av de lägerdeltagare som vill föreviga sig den sista dagen på lägret, så se till att packa era favorit fetischoutfits, välj ut finaste redskapen och  provposera kanske redan nu  för den mest förföriska nya presentationsbilden du egentligen vill ha!

Vi har även bjudit in festfixaren och filmskaparen Ingo som ligger bakom Wotever World (http://woteverworld.com ) och kommer att hålla en workshop kring queer porr under lägret. Ingo, skapade Wotever World i London 2003 och inom denna grupp utav event/klubbar och politiska sammanhang samt den Queera sexklubben Klub Fukk. Klub Fukk är en sexuell mötes plats för alla gender och sexualiteter under det stora paraplyet Queer. På Klub Fukk visas  bl.a queer porr och de har under de senaste åren, även gjort egna filmer. På Wish Sommarläger har du chans att både se vissa utav dem, samt medverka och skapa dina egna.

Läderverkstan kommer att vara up and running, med en hantverksvärd tillgänglig för er som vill ha lite handledning i hur man tillverkar sin egen cane, tawse, ponyplayträns, o.s.v. För er som fick mersmak på lera under mudpartyt kan vi även avslöja att vi har införskaffat en enorm gummiflotte som kan fyllas med lera, j-lube eller något annat som uppmuntrar till messy fun!

Allt är givetvis frivilligt och bara en av många möjligheter som finns till förkovran och utforskande underlägret!

Det finns fortfarande platser kvar, så se till att anmäla er för det här unika tillfället att skapa internationella kontakter, leka i välutrustade dungeons, bada på naturskön strand eller bara rätt och slätt umgås med likasinnade på den mysiga punschverandan eller i den varma utomhusbubbelpoolen!

Informal meeting about Wish Powerexchange Summercamp on Tuesday the 8th of June.

För alla som är nyfikna på Wish Powerexchanges sommarläger som kommer att hållas på Västkusten den 21-25 juli (läs mer här), har frågor eller förslag på aktiviteter eller rätt och slätt bara vill få en chans att träffa några andra som ska komma på lägret kommer vi att ha ett informellt infomöte tisdag 8 juni på 18-20 på Morfar Ginko/Papa Raj Raj som ligger på Swedenborgsgatan 13, på Södermalm i Stockholm. Oavsett om du har bestämt dig för att åka, fortfarande är osäker, eller vet att du inte kan åka, men tycker att lägret är en bra idé så ska du känna dig riktigt välkommen! Lilaa och J. från lägerledningen kommer att finnas på . Vi kommer att ha en liten läderflagga på bordet så att alla ni som inte vet hur vi ser ut hittar rätt!
